Pass the plate please!

Today's go green idea comes to us courtesy of my amazing aunt, Aunt Sheri. As a faithful C'est la vie by Elle reader, she sent me this great idea that she read about recently. I simply had to share it with all of you.

We all know what a hassle it is to try to get the plate or platter back from a recent gathering or party we attended.

To avoid this, go to a thrift store and buy an assortment of plates and platters. You can find them for as low as $0.25 each! The next time you need to bring something to an event, use one of these plates/platters, and just ask the hostess to either keep it or pass it on to someone else. Problem solved! You aren't using a disposable plate, and you don't have to worry about getting it back from the hostess. Now, please pass me a brownie.
