Compost it!

My first exposure to composting was at my friend Katie's house.  I would watch in amazement as her parents threw food scraps and other compostible items into a container that they would dump in their backyard compost pile.  It always fascinated me for some reason.  

Being that I live on the 20th floor of a high rise condo building, it is a bit hard for me to compost.  If and when I live in a house one day, I can't wait to start composting.  Since I have never done so before, I don't have any go green tips to offer on the subject.
